About Lee.

I am a trained family therapist and a strengths-based, solution-focused clinician practicing via a social justice lens.I have a clinical specialty with people of all ages on the LGBTQIA spectrum, specifically with individuals looking for support through medical gender transition. I have extensive experience with families, individuals and adolescents working through a range of mental health challenges and complex emotional situations, including: family systems issues, anxiety/depression, separation/divorce/co-parenting work, grief support, school refusal, maternal/postpartum mental health and parent/child relational issues.

I am also comfortable with couples therapy and solo/dyadic parenting work. I believe that we have "tapes" that run in our minds that have been with us since childhood and dictate our responses to stress, increase our anxiety and impact our moods. My job is to help identify and rewrite the brain tapes to enhance each client's feelings of power and autonomy.

I believe every individual is the expert in their own lives and it's my job to partner with clients to assist them to meet their own goals. I am a queer-identified professional, which drives and informs my passion to work with LQBTQIA populations. Pronouns: she/her/hers.
